MINISTER SHATRECE W. BUCHANAN was born in Camden, NJ and has lived all over the world. She is the proud daughter of the late Major General Michael (Ret) & Ingred Sherfield & Sylvester Bryant. She is a woman of God whose heartbeat is to educate others in their Christian walk. Shatrece has performed with many choirs and has been the featured soloist on numerous occasions. She has had the distinct honor in performing with Dr. Bobby Jones as a member of the first military choir to perform at the 1995 Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC. She has gained the rapport of her peers by her steadfast, bold commitment to the work of the ministry. She is a writer, director and the producer for her own theatre ministry. As the Founder and President of Bryant-Buchanan Ministries, Inc., she and her husband, Reverend Harvey G. Buchanan Jr., have ministered to thousands of people with their debut play, “Girl, God’s Gonna Luv Ya Anyhow” (a play about AIDS/STD awareness) and “A Thief In The Night” (a play about how Christmas is celebrated without Christ) and “Mama, Mama, Me Ma”, an international acclaimed play about family reconciliation.

Shatrece is also an active duty Major in the U.S. Army and the Executive Director of the National Media Center in New York City. Shatrece has three Degrees which consist of a B.A. in TV Productions from Howard University, two Masters in Public Administration and Secondary Education with the focus of English from Murray State, and Howard University respectively. Currently, Shatrece is the Commanding Officer of the Kansas City Military Entrance Processing Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She and her husband currently reside in Platte City, Missouri. They are members of Faith Family Christian Center in Leavenworth, KS under the pastoral care of Pastor Derick White & Prophetess Katina White. Shatrece and her family reside in Platte City, Missouri.
