REVEREND HARVEY G. BUCHANAN JR., is a native of Muncie, Indiana. He accepted the Lord at age five and answered the call to ministry on April 11, 1994. Rev. Buchanan has preached in Kentucky, South Carolina and in the Washington D.C. area. He has performed with Gospel greats such as Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, The Clark Sisters and the 1995 Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC as a member of the first military choir to perform in this forum. Rev. Buchanan has been the featured soloist with many choirs and groups. His vocals have been compared to those of Dr. Timothy Wright, Fred Hammond and John P. Kee. He is truly a man after “GOD’s own heart!” Rev. Buchanan has served on the ministerial staff and as a Praise Team member of Love International Church (LIC) located in Springfield, VA. He has also performed with the Gospel recording group Tyrone Powell & the Friends of Christ. He currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Development with Bryant-Buchanan Ministries, Inc., a theatre ministry that he and his wife, Shatrece, are the founders. He also plays “Pastor Williams” in their hit debut play, “Girl, God’s Gonna Luv Ya Anyway” which has premiered at the Lincoln Theatre, Washington DC, Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, VA and the Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park, New Jersey.

He and his lovely wife, Shatrece currently reside in Platte City, Missouri. Rev. Buchanan is the proud father of three children, LaShea, Aisha and Rashad. He also is a proud member of Faith Family Christian Center in Leavenworth, KS under the pastoral care of Pastor Derick White and Prophetess Katina White.
